Cancellations
We give you the opportunity to cancel your order at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. If you wish to change or cancel an order please call us on 01223 96 88 99 or notify us in writing by email at info@kpzscales.co.uk

It would be helpful if you could quote the following details:

 

  • Customer name
  • Order number
  • Date of the order

 

 

We expect the goods to be received back in our warehouse within 10 working days from notification of cancellation. Orders are normally processed immediately so we may have already packaged your order and made arrangements for it to be sent to you. If this is the case then we cannot always stop the order from being sent. The law does not cover goods made to the customer\'s specification. Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) the customer has a duty of care for the products during the cancellation period. Please note: We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is faulty. For your protection we recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery service. We cannot issue refunds for goods that fail to reach us. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

Your statutory rights:

By law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. Our 30 Day No Quibble Guarantee

Our 30-day no quibble guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition and in adequate packaging within 30 days of the date you received the item and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item (we will not refund the cost of carriage). Please note: We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is faulty. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in its original condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. Returns Policy

We hope you will be highly satisfied with any product purchased on our website but if you wish to return an item to us then we aim to make it as quick and convenient as possible. Any item may be returned to us for any reason within 30 days of delivery so long as is returned in its original condition. We reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount if the item is not returned in an adequate condition.

Checklist

Please ensure you have followed ALL the points below to minimize any delay in dealing with your exchanged or returned item(s)

  • Returns should be made within 30 days and in an adequate condition and suitably packaged for transit. You must include the original despatch note in the package you are returning to us
  • You must include the original batteries if included
  • Ring us on 01223 96 88 99 or email us at info@kpzscales.co.uk to obtain a returns number. No returned item will be accepted without this number.


For your protection we recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery service. We cannot issue refunds for goods that fail to reach us. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. Once we have received and verified the returned item we will initiate the refund, replacement or exchange within 30 days.

 

Damages

If the item was damaged in transit

  • You should check your products thoroughly for any sign of damage and if damage has occurred you must check the content of the box. Should any of your products be damaged you must sign for the order and clearly write on the couriers documentation that the products were Damaged in Transit.
  • If you are unhappy with the delivery, or the courier is not willing to wait while you properly inspect the goods, then please refuse delivery, and write Parcel(s) Not Accepted beside your signature.
  • Please contact us immediately on 01223 96 88 99 or info@kpzscales.co.uk and with details of the damage.
  • We will arrange a collect and replacement of the item as soon as we are able.
  • KPZscales will not accept responsibility and will not replace products damaged on arrival unless any damage has been clearly noted on the courier\'s delivery note by you.


If the item is defective

You have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable period of time. Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item as this may be needed should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item which is over 30 days old, you can contact us at info@kpzscales.co.uk or on 01223 96 88 99 and we will arrange  to repair or replace the item. For items that have developed a fault within 30 days of purchase we will reimburse any postage costs you have incurred. Unfortunately, for faults outside 30 days of purchase date, you will have to incur the postage charge of the return. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
